The Complete Streets North Central Plan is a community-led plan focused on the North Central neighborhood.

The Plan was a result of the March 20, 2023 public meeting where the City Council directed City staff to create a North Central focused plan that would be developed concurrently with the Citywide San Mateo Complete Streets Plan. 

Extensive community engagement and outreach will be conducted throughout the Plan development process to ensure the final document reflects the needs expressed by the North Central community.

Community feedback will help identify transportation safety and accessibility needs in the neighborhood as well as develop and prioritize projects to be included in the final Plan.

The Complete Streets North Central Plan is expected to be complete in Summer 2024.
