The Laurie Meadows Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Improvement Project was approved by San Mateo City Council on May 17, 2021, awarding the contract to McKim Corporation.

The project will improve high visibility crosswalks, ADA-compliant sidewalk ramps, and traffic calming bulb-outs. Additionally, the project will install Class II buffered bike lanes in both directions and will slurry seal the entire length of Laurie Meadows Drive.
