Below is list of the available meeting materials and Zoom links for the City Council public hearings on the transition to district elections. All Zoom links will also be posted to the Public Meetings Portal at least 72 hours before the meeting.
Nov. 1, 2021 - Public Hearing #5 - Final Map & Sequencing
The City Council will hold a virtual public hearing beginning 7:30 p.m. to vote on an ordinance adopting the final district elections map. The Council will also number the districts and determine future election sequencing with three districts voting in 2022 and two districts voting in 2024. Oct. 14, 2021 - Public Hearing #4 - Map Review
The City Council held a virtual public hearing beginning 6 p.m. The demographer presented revised proposed draft map for Council and public input. The Council selected Map 3b as the final district elections map.

Sept. 13, 2021 - Public Hearing #2 - Pre-Map Meeting
The City Council held a virtual public hearing beginning 6 p.m. to accept community input before any maps are drawn. The public can provide feedback, including on communities of interest and the number of districts that could be considered. The Council is expected to give final direction on the composition of by-district elections, including the number of districts and how the position of mayor is elected.
