Project Description
A formal Planning Application (PA-2024-062) has been submitted for a proposed 76,944 square-foot. self-storage facility on a 59,746 square-foot lot at the corner of South Claremont St. and 10th Avenue. The proposal includes the following:
- Retain and rehabilitate three (3) historic single-story industrial buildings on site totaling 24,894 square-feet, and;
- Construct one (1) new 2-story building with a one level basement level totaling 52,050 square-feet; and,
- Twenty (20) onsite parking spaces, two (2) onsite loading spaces, and fourteen (14) bicycle parking spaces.
Project Update
- The current resubmittal was submitted on September 16, 2025 and is currently under review.
- The initial formal application was submitted on January 8, 2025 and was deemed incomplete.
- A Pre-Application (PA24-046) was filed on August 3, 2023. A Planning Commission Pre-Application Study Session (PA24-046) was held on June 11, 2024 where the Planning Commission reviewed the project and provided recommendations. A recording of the meeting can be found in the Meeting Section below.
- A virtual neighborhood meeting was held on April 30, 2024
