Project Description

This application is submitted under Housing Crisis Act (SB330) (Government Code Section 65941.1.) Under the state law, the project secures development standards, fees, and regulations as they were at the time of submission, by providing all the required documents outlined in the City’s SB 330 Preliminary Application checklist. More information about SB 330 can be found in the Housing and Community Development (HCD) SB 330 website.

The project proposes the demolition of an existing gas station and shopping center and construction of a multi-family residential building on a 1.62 acre site at the corner of Pacific Blvd and Laurie Meadows Dr. The proposed building will be six-stories and will feature modern architecture. Amenity spaces in the form of a courtyard, community room, gym and a rooftop deck will be provided. As currently designed the project includes 206 parking spaces.

The project consists of 202 rental units including 25 very low-income units.

Of the proposed 202 units, the bedroom breakdown will be as follows:

  • Studio: 24 Units
  • One-Bedroom: 111 Units
  • Two-Bedroom: 67 Units
