Information You Need Before Scheduling an Inspection


Prior to scheduling your inspection, please have the following information available:

  • Project number (last 6 digits), contractor's name and phone number
  • Project address, including floor number, suite number etc.
  • Type of inspection needed
  • Date desired for inspection

Schedule an Inspection


There are some important facts to keep in mind when scheduling an inspection:

  • Any next business day inspection requests must be scheduled online before 3:00 pm.
  • The Citizen Self-Service (CSS) portal is available 24 hours a day, seven days per week.
  • AM/PM inspection requests are only noted as a preference and cannot be guaranteed.
  • Please expect a phone call from your inspector before 9:00 am the morning of your inspection, at which point you will receive your 2-hour inspection window and confirmation of either an in-person or virtual inspection. 
  • Inspections are scheduled in the order they are received until all available inspection slots are filled.
  • Inspections are performed between 9:00am-5:00pm.
