Get Around! is a program offered through the Parks and Recreation Department that offers seniors living in San Mateo a safe and affordable means of transportation.
Monthly downtown parking permits are available to business owners, employees, and residents who require all-day parking.
Downtown San Mateo has 9 city-owned parking garages and lots available to all downtown patrons. For all parking facilities, parking is FREE on Sundays, City-Designated Holidays, and after 6:00 PM everyday.
Residential parking permits are issued for residents of neighborhoods whose parking is impacted by local traffic generators such as hospitals, business and high schools.
