Project Description
This preliminary application is submitted under the Housing Crisis Act (SB330) (Government Code Section 65941.1.) Under the state law, the project secures local development standards, fees, and regulations as they were at the time of submission, by providing all the required documents outlined in the City’s SB330 Preliminary Application Checklist. The approximately 10-acre project site is located at 1770 S. Amphlett Blvd. The project proposes demolition of an existing vacant hotel building (formerly Mariott) and construction of a total of 234 residential units with 371 parking stalls. The proposed development includes a mix of 159 three-story townhome style units, as well as one six-story multifamily building with 75 apartment-style units (57 of which would be designated as affordable units at the low-income level).
