San Mateo City Council

A General Municipal Election was held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

The following individuals ran for San Mateo City Council:

*Candidates appear in the order as drawn by the California Secretary of State on August 15, 2024.

**In accordance with California Elections Code Section 10229(b), the District 2 and District 4 races will be included on the November ballot, even though the number of candidates in District 4 matches the number of vacancies. This is because a city-wide measure has qualified for the ballot.
