Caltrain: 25th Avenue Grade Separation Project
Project Description

The 25th Avenue Grade Separation project will raise the tracks at the 25th Avenue crossing and slightly lower 25th Avenue to grade separate the existing crossing.

The track raise in turn provides the opportunity to complete east-west street connections at 28th and 31st Avenues in conformance with the Bay Meadows Transit Oriented Development Plan.

The Hillsdale Caltrain Station will also be relocated northward between 28th and 31st Avenues as part of the improvements.

Project Status
Design for this project is currently ongoing. Construction is anticipated to start in early 2017 and continue for 2 years.
