Pay Stations and Meters

All parking meters and pay stations accept credit card, cash, coins, Google Wallet, and Apple Pay. Follow the instructions below to pay for your parking space. 

Contactless payment is available for parking on-street and in all City-owned parking facilities. Download the iOS or Andriod PayByPhone app on your mobile phone, visit the PayByPhone website, or call 866-234-7275 to pay for parking. Check nearby signs for a PayByPhone location code.

Pay Station InstructionsMulti-Space Pay Station

Before leaving your vehicle, remember your license plate number by making a mental note or taking a picture with a smartphone. Proceed to the closest pay station and follow these steps to pay for parking.

Credit/Debit Card, Google Wallet, or Apple Pay

  1. If the screen is dark, press any button to light up the screen.
  2. Enter in your license plate number using the keypad.
  3. Insert payment.
    • For credit/debit cards: Insert and remove your card. VISA, Discover, and Mastercard are accepted. There is no additional charge for using credit or debit cards.
    • For Google or Apple Pay: Press "OK".
  4. Select the amount of time using the [+] and [-] buttons. The cost is displayed underneath the time. 
  5. Press the [OK] button to confirm your payment, or [CANCEL] button to stop your transaction.
    Note: After 35 seconds, the payment shown on the screen will be processed if neither button is pressed.
  6. Wait for authorization of the card (unless using Google or Apple Pay).

Cash and/or Coin Payment

  1. If the screen is dark, press any button to light up the screen.
  2. Enter in your license plate number using the keypad.
  3. Insert cash and/or coins into the machine. Quarters, dimes, nickels and one dollar coins are accepted.

Proceed to the parking meter located in front of your vehicle and follow these steps to pay for parking:

Credit/Debit Card, Google Wallet, or Apple Pay

  1. Insert payment.

  2. Select the amount of time using the [+TIME] and [-TIME] buttons. The cost is displayed underneath the time.
  3. Press the [OK] button to confirm your payment, or [CANCEL] button to stop your transaction. 
  4. Wait for authorization of the card (unless using Google or Apple Pay).

Coins

  1. Insert coins into meter. Quarters, dimes, nickels and one dollar coins are accepted.
  2. The allotted time will show on the display as coins are inserted.
