Local artists, Cathy Cakebread and Lorraine Crowder, present a display of various examples of handmade books. These books come from the imaginations of the artists, a unique way of telling their story in various forms--from a butterfly, to a “pencil box,” to a star. Some pieces come with a matching custom-made box. The artists sometimes start with an existing book and modify it so it may no longer look like a book, but their aim is to always convey a story. *** Display Case, 2nd Floor ***
