A formal preliminary Planning Application “Pre-App” has been submitted to demolish the existing on-site structures, to be replaced by two buildings totaling 74,990 square feet on a 37,500 square foot site. The project consists of a five-story mixed-use building along the S. El Camino Real frontage, which includes office on the ground floor and 36 residential units in the four stories above, totaling 63,654 square feet. The project includes eight (8) two-story townhomes along the Jasmine Street frontage, totaling 11,336 square feet. The project also proposes 82 underground parking spaces.
 
The Planning Commission will hold a Study Session at City Hall Council Chambers on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.

PA-2019-021 / 2850 S. El Camino RealA formal preliminary Planning Application “Pre-App” has been submitted to demolish the existing structures to construct a 50,091 square foot, four-story mixed-use building. The parcel site is 27,850 square feet (0.64 acre). The mixed-use building would consist of 7,500 square feet of retail on the ground floor, office space at level 2, and 13 residential units on levels 2 through 4. The project also proposes 51 parking spaces in the underground parking garage.
 
A Neighborhood Meeting will be held at Beresford Recreation Center on Thursday, December 12, 2019.

The Planning Commission held a Public Hearing in Council Chambers at City Hall on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. The project was approved by vote (3-1).

This project includes a Site Plan and Architectural Review for a 17,187 square-foot, three-story mixed-use building. The proposed building consists of retail on the first floor, and office uses on the first through third floors. An additional 5,801 square-feet of office use is proposed on the basement level. Private open spaces are provided through a rooftop terrace and third-floor balcony. The project also includes a Site Development Planning Application for the removal and replacement of five street trees.

The Planning Commission held a Study Session in in Council Chambers at City Hall on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Study Session items are for discussion purposes only, No Vote is taken. 

A formal preliminary Planning Application ("Pre-App") has been submitted proposing to develop an 11,464 square foot parcel that currently exists as an undeveloped lot. The applicant proposes an 18,421 square foot office building comprised of three floors. The applicant proposes to pay fees in-lieu of providing required off-street parking.

General Plan Workshop Nov. 16

On Saturday, Nov. 16th, community members joined in group discussions and used Legos to shared ideas on the kinds of change they'd like to see! Check out the workshop photos and table notes with ideas on the kinds of housing, jobs, circulation improvements, and other changes that are needed over the next 20 years.
