Tentative Parcel Maps for condominium purposes for two separate lots with four (4) detached single-family homes on each lot, for a total of eight (8) detached single-family homes.  The development and tentative parcel maps were previously approved through planning application PA-2006-049.  There are no new improvements being requested.

The proposed project consists of the demolition of the existing on-site structures and trees and the construction of two affordable housing buildings totaling 164 units (148,355 sf) and an above-ground parking garage with 164 private residential parking stalls and 541 public parking stalls. The project also includes a 2,000 square foot community serving space and long-term bicycle storage for 196 bikes.

Site Plan and Architectural Review (SPAR) for a 415-square-foot addition to the ground floor unit and a 220-square-foot addition to the rear unit on the second floor of an existing 3-unit multi-family building.  The proposed additions are located toward the rear of the property.

Single-Family Dwelling Design Review (SFDDR) for a new 275 square-foot second-story rear addition to an existing one-story single-family dwelling.  This project also includes a 205 square-foot rear addition to the first floor.

King Park Improvements Project

A Planning Commission Public Hearing was held on February 26, 2019.  The Planning Commission voted 3-0 to approve the project. The City Council will hear the proposed project at their scheduled meeting on March 18, 2019.

A Planning Commission Public Hearing was held on February 12, 2018. The Planning Commission voted 5-0 to approve the project. The Planning Commission's decision was appealed. Under SMMC 27.06.050, the City Council shall review projects in which the Planning Commission decision was appealed. Date to be determined.

The City Council Public Hearing was held on Monday February 19, 2019 adopting a Resolution to approve the project. The City Council voted 5-0 to approve the project.
