The proposed project consists of a request for a Zoning Code amendment for a Qualified (Q) Overlay zoning designation, which would establish alternative development standards for the site primarily to accommodate the construction of a new classroom building that currently would exceed the maximum permitted Floor Area Ratio for the project site. The proposed Zoning Code amendment would accommodate the proposed demolition of an existing one-story 2,730 square-foot classroom building, the construction of a new two-story 6,570 square-foot classroom and multi-purpose room building, and site improvements to the existing courtyard.
