Help Shape Future of City's First District Elections Map
NEW: Communities of Interest forms Now Available
Upcoming Workshops: Saturday, Aug. 21
Help influence how voters elect future City of San Mateo Council Members by joining the Represent San Mateo initiative! We’ve begun the process to transition to district elections and community input is needed.
Why does this matter? The City Council sets policies and allocates funding that impact a variety of issues important to the San Mateo community. This includes everything from housing and childcare programs, to parks and transportation improvements. District elections will directly impact how you elect future City Council members to make these decisions for your community!

The first phase of public engagement will be to collect input to help define local “Communities of Interest.”
