477 E. Hillsdale Boulevard (PA-2020-046)
On August 27, 2020, a formal Planning Application was submitted for the proposed demolition of the existing Hillsdale Inn Motel and self-service car wash, and construction of a new three-story, 152-unit (for rent) apartment building. The project was previously reviewed during study-session before the Planning Commission June 27, 2017. The project is currently under review with City Staff.
1600-1620 El Camino Real & 1535, 1541 & 1543 Jasmine Street (PA-2020-049)
On September 9, 2020, a formal Planning Application was submitted for a mixed-use project located at El Camino Real and Jasmine Street. The project consists of 44 residential units and office use. The project was previously reviewed by the Planning Commission as a study session on December 10, 2019. The project is currently under review with City staff.
Borel Park, 1401 Shafter St. (PA-2020-051)
On September 22, 2020, a new Planning Application was submitted for a neighborhood park on an existing undeveloped park site. The Borel Park Master Plan was previously reviewed and approved by the City Council on January 22, 2019. The project is currently under review with City staff.
Bay Meadows Phase II SPAR #1 MU2 and MU3 Modification (PA-2020-053)
This project was reviewed by the Planning Commission in June of 2020 as a Study Session. The applicant has since submitted the formal Planning Application on September 30, 2020. This application would modify the previously approved designs under the SPAR #1 application (PA-2007-054). The MU2 site would be modified to an office/active use building of approximately 191,000 sq. ft. in size. The MU3 site would consist of 67 multi-family units, and an office/active use building of approximately 126,000 sq. ft. in size. This project is currently under review with City staff.
