Learn More About California's Voter's Choice Act

Starting in 2018, all registered voters in San Mateo County will receive their ballot in the mail a few weeks before the election. Most neighborhood polling places will no longer be used for voting. Instead, you will have 3 options for how to vote:

  1. Vote-by-Mail
  2. Ballot Dropbox (see map of locations)
  3. Vote Center (see list of locations)

The San Mateo City Clerk's Office can help you figure out where to go. (650) 522-7040. Visit the City Clerk's web page to watch informational videos and learn more about the statewide Voter's Choice Act.
