Operation Eagle Visit - Homecoming 50 Years Parade

Saturday, March 24, 2018

Come join San Mateo and eight other cities as we welcome our adopted soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division with a parade down B Street! This free family-friendly event will showcase the Peninsula's community spirit and pride. Visit Downtown San Mateo to see floats, classic cars, marching bands, balloons, dancers and more! The parade is the highlight of three days of celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of San Mateo's adoption of the "Screaming Eagles," a division of the U.S. Army, and will feature nearly 100 troops and veterans. The parade runs along B Street between Baldwin and Seventh avenues. There will be temporary street closures during the event.
