Lush green lawns have long been the anchor of outdoor landscaping. However, with today's focus on    protecting our natural resources, many homeowners are choosing alternatives.
Frank Niccoli will show you how to plant a beautiful landscape that will significantly lower your water bills. An intelligent and knowledgeable approach will save time, money, and guarantee a successful transition from lawn to a new garden.

A Cal Water Representative will open the class with a description of rebate programs available to residents. Learn what efforts Cal Water is making in the world of conservation and on how residents can reduce their water use.

The event is free and sponsored by the City of San Mateo.
