Boos on B Street & Trick or Treating

We're ready for a BOO-tiful day!

Join us on Saturday, October 28 from 2:00-5:00pm in Downtown San Mateo on the Pedestrian Mall (B Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue) for carnival games, pumpkin decorating, and live DJ music!

Trick-or-Treating

Stop by the Downtown San Mateo booth FIRST to get a map and a trick-or-treat bag! See which Downtown San Mateo businesses that will be participating in this event by visiting the Downtown San Mateo Association webpage.

Wear a costume and look FANG-tastic!

Grab lunch first and head on over, or enjoy the event then grab dinner! Costumes are welcomed and highly encouraged! This event is run by the City of San Mateo Parks and Recreation Department and the Downtown San Mateo Association and will be SPOOK-tacular!

Bring a carved or decorated pumpkin to win in one of the following categories:

Unveiling a masterpiece!

Join us at the start of the event at 2:00pm for the unveiling of a unique piece of art that was created to celebrate the San Mateo’s commitment to racial equity. To learn more about the mural, please see the Racial Equity Art Project webpage.
