Main Library, Oak Room

Interested in planting a vegetable garden, or growing flowers as food and habitat for bees and birds? Already have a vegetable garden but want to try something new? Join us for the launch of our seed library: learn how the seed library works, what's available, and choose some organic, non-GMO, open-pollinated vegetable, herb, and flower seeds to take home and plant. Growing instructions for each type of seed are provided. We'll also have a limited number of seedlings for your vegetable bed. In addition, if you have packets of seeds (no older than a year) you'd like to share with others, bring them along to swap.
