Project Description
A Preliminary Planning Application (Pre-App) has been submitted for a new multi-family development located at 1885 S Norfolk St. (APN 035-383-200), the current site of the Fish Market – San Mateo. The 3.18-acre site is bounded by S. Norfolk St. on the west, Seal Slough on the east, Susan Ct. on the north, and Fashion Island Blvd. on the south. The proposal includes demolishing all existing structures on the site and constructing a 5-story, 321-unit multi-family apartment community (15% devoted to the Very Low-income level) with a central above grade parking garage and open space located on rooftop decks and along Seal Slough.
