The San Mateo Police Department welcomes guests into our building as part of our community and educational outreach. Station tours are conducted for residents, schools, and other organizations. Tours are modified for each group based on the age and skill level of the participants.

San Mateo Police Department tours are given throughout the week and are by appointment only. There are several flights of stairs and it involves a lot of walking; however, A.D.A. accommodations will be made for those who need it. The building tour usually lasts about one hour. 

Due to size constraints of certain parts of the building, smaller tour groups are preferred. The maximum number of guests per group is 25. If children are part of the tour, please ensure one chaperone for ever five children.
