A neighborhood meeting was held on May 18, 2022, and a Planning Commission Study Session was held on June 14, 2022. Next step in the development review process is submittal of a formal planning application; which has not yet occurred. This page will be updated once a formal application has been submitted.
A Preliminary Application (PA-2022-021) has been submitted for the proposed demolition of the existing Hillsdale Inn motel, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and self-service car wash at 477 E. Hillsdale Blvd, and construction of a new 230-unit (for rent), four-story apartment complex.
The approximately 248,900 sq. ft. multi-family development will include residential amenities such as a resident lobby, community rooms, fitness rooms, and a fourth-level deck with barbeque and seating areas.
The project will provide 283 resident parking spaces. The applicant proposes to devote 23 units (15% of the base density) as affordable to the Very Low-Income category.
