PROJECT UPDATE:


The construction plans are in for building permits.  There are 3 building permits. Demolition occurs in two phases.  The first demolition permit consisted of demolishing structures to determine and assess the roots of trees located beyond the property line on adjacent properties, including the residential development to the east and trees in Central Park to the north. Tree protection measures, in addition to those originally approved by the Planning Commission, were added to ensure survival of these trees. Phase II Demolition includes putting in place the tree protection measures that were determined as a result of Phase I Demolition.  Grading will occur with Demolition Phase II.  The last permit combines the Foundation and Superstructure.
