Volunteering time is a great way to give of yourself to others. There are numerous places in a City where you give of your time and benefit those around you.

If you are an individual who enjoys helping others and likes getting out and meeting people, you can volunteer time to interview social service agencies to collect data that will help the City meet the needs of our community.

Then why not volunteer to work with our Building and Public Works Inspectors by being a Damage Assessment Team Coordinator? These individuals need a knowledge of construction so that buildings damaged during a disaster can be identified.

How about when your kids were growing up, by coaching little league, swimming, et cetera? Our Parks & Recreation Department has volunteer opportunities in youth programs and aquatics.
