We provide IT services and technology consulting to the City of San Mateo
Our mission is to work collaboratively with departments and deliver the highest quality IT services and technology consulting possible.
We seek to ensure the technologies we employ serve business needs, help staff to be effective and efficient, and can be maintained long term.
The DoIT process is to:
- Listen to and Explore business needs,
- Understand and Explain technology choices, and
- Build and Maintain 'best fit' solutions.
We are organized into four business units:
Provides attentive and responsive front line Help Desk support, along with access to training and other helpful end-user resources.
|"Biz Con" works collaboratively with departments to explore evolving business needs, define requirements, and build solutions. The team also maintains and supports existing departmental and multi-departmental applications.
||Public Facing and GIS
|Provides the backbone and nervous system that allows IT solutions to be reliable, and flourish. This includes building and maintaining the City's network, servers, VOIP phone system, and City-wide systems such as email.
||Focuses on the City's Internet and Intranet technologies and web presence, as well as providing high quality GIS and mapping services.
