New Opportunity: Job Seekers Resource Aide
Volunteer at the San Mateo Main Library in the Library’s new Job Seekers Center.
We are looking for qualified individuals to assist unemployed workers with job research activities.
Background Requirement: Human Resources generalist or other coaching/teaching  preferred.  BA degree or equivalent. 2 hour weekly shift required.

Friends of the Library Book SaleFriends of the Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Library Volunteers have an ongoing book sale in the San Mateo Main Library on the 1st floor.  Hardbound books, paperbacks, children's books, foreign language books, CD's and DVD's are for sale.  For even more great books, visit the Friends online book sales.  All proceeds from sales go to buy new books, DVDs, CDs, and other library materials.
