What is a Bicycle Rodeo?
Bicycle rodeos are clinics and skill based demonstrations, often on a course, which teach children to be safe while biking.

The City of San Mateo is partnering with Safe Moves to provide a fun bicycle rodeo.  Safe Moves puts on great rodeos and provides the following:
1. "Safe Moves City" (minature city)
2. Bicycles and helmets for children to use on the course
3. Traffic Sign Costume characters
4. Traffic Safety Games

Don't miss this event which will be followed by a community ride!

Looking for ways to get to the event?  Our map below shows bike routes, the closest Caltrain station, and parking at the San Mateo Events Center.

Please observe all rules of the road when biking to, during, and after this event.
