The San Mateo Area Chamber of Commerce promotes business and the public interest through representation, advocacy and sponsorship. The Chamber organizes and funds programs that support the economic, civic, cultural and educational excellence of the San Mateo area.

San Mateo SBDC
The San Mateo Small Business Development Center offers a wide variety of services for present and potential small business owners. Our services include no-charge expert counseling, low-cost training, information resources, events and seminars. All counseling services are confidential and free of charge.

Downtown San Mateo Association (DSMA)

The Downtown San Mateo Association (DSMA) represents businesses who pay an assessment to support the Downtown Business Improvement District. As the collective voice of the downtown business community, the DSMA works ensure a healthy and vibrant downtown district, promoting downtown businesses and building awareness of this unique commercial area. 

San Mateo EDGE
The EDGE is an economic development and growth initiative in San Mateo that formed in 2010 to drive the sustained vitality of the business community located in the San Francisco Bay Area. It serves as a catalyst to accelerate the growth and the formation of businesses while fostering collaboration among all constituencies critical to ensuring a vital business community.
