Name of Project: South Trunk Sanitary Sewer Relief Project 

Impacted Areas:   

  • Delaware: 25th Avenue to Sunnybrae Boulevard 
  • Sunnybrae Blvd: Delaware to S. Amphlett Boulevard
  • Under Highway 101: S. Amphlett Boulevard to Patricia Avenue

Expected to Commence: Construction will be completed in phases.  Phase 1 is anticipated to commence in Summer 2012.

Expected to Finish: All phases expected to finish by late 2014.  

Work Hours: 7:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.  Possible night work.

Short Description of Work: Installation of a sewer relief line that will carry wet weather flows from the Southwest area of San Mateo to the City’s Dale Avenue pump station. 

Benefits of Work: The completion of this project will alleviate sanitary sewer overflows along the South Delaware Street area

Expected Impacts: Short term traffic and pedestrian impacts during construction

Notice of Intent/Availability: Addendum Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration Addendum
