On-Street Parking
Parking meters maintain availability of parking spaces for trips of a short duration. They may be placed in any location along public streets or in the City or District parking lots. The Public Works Commission determines where to place parking meters.
Meter Days & Hours
Parking meters are in effect Monday through Saturday 8:00am-6:00pm. Parking is FREE Overnight, Sundays, and Holidays (see Holiday Schedule below for details.)

On-Street Parking Space Meter Rates
- The rate for the 1st and 2nd hours is: $.50 per hour
- The rate for the 3rd and 4th hours is: $1.00 per hour
- Visitors can use credit cards to pay the multi-space pay stations.
- There is a $2 credit card minimum.
Holiday Schedule
Meters are FREE on the following holidays:
- New Years Day: January 1
- Dr. Martin Luther King Day: The 3rd Monday in January
- Presidents Day: The 3rd Monday in February
- Memorial Day: The last Monday in May
- Independence Day: July 4
- Labor Day: The 1st Monday in September
- Veterans Day: November 11
- Thanksgiving Day: The 4th Thursday in November
