Community Needs Assessment

Attention San Mateo Residents...

The City of San Mateo Wants to Hear from you at the Community Needs Assessment

  Wednesday, November 16, 2016
   7:00 PM
San Mateo City Hall, Conference Room C
330 West 20th Avenue, San Mateo, CA 94403

Each year the City of San Mateo prepares an Annual Action Plan that identify activities that are important to the San Mateo community and how we plan to spend the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. Planning is taking place for the 2017-2018 Program Year, the third year of the 2015-17 Consolidated Plan. The amount of available funding is currently unknown.

We are asking our community as to what the highest priority needs are to help service our residents with lower incomes. These include eligible funding categories such as Public Services grants to nonprofit agencies to address Basic Needs, Youth Services, Senior Services & Affordable Housing, Community & Economic Development activities, or Public Works infrastructure improvements.

You are part of that process and the Community Relations Commission would like to hear from you about what you think are the most important needs in your community. For more information, call the Neighborhood Improvement and Housing Division at 522-7229 or email .
