Context Sensitive Solutions
Context Sensitive Solutions has three primary principles:

  1. Strive towards a shared stakeholder vision as a basis for decisions
  2. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contexts
  3. Exercise flexibility and creativity to shape effective transportation solutions while preserving and enhancing community and natural environments

Preliminary Alternatives Analysis report showing analysis of various options for the shaping of our corridor’s rail system from San Francisco to San Jose was released in April, and a Supplemental Alternatives Analysis was relased in August, 2010. The City of San Mateo will continue to host a series of community and stakeholder workshops to solicit input.  Stay Informed!

The Peninsula Rail Program has developed the Context Sensitive Solutions toolkit for stakeholders of the San Francisco to San Jose section of the California High-Speed Train Project.  The toolkit provides options so Stakeholders can select the “tools” that are of interest to them and continue to provide input via the CSS community input process
