BABA is a group of independent artists bound together by a passion for the book arts. Since 1995, BABA has presented large and small exhibitions at galleries, museums, and other public venues. In 2002, BABA members organized the first Book Arts Jam, an annual day-long celebration of the book arts, print arts and paper arts. This group show features work by Dotti Cichon, Isabelle de La Tullaye, and Stephanie Allen.
Mardirian_Unfinished Dream.jpg3D Art - Varoujan Mardirian
Varoujan Mardirian is an Armenian sculptor who originally hails from Lebanon. A practicing civil engineer and architect, he started sculpting during the Lebanese Civil War to fight man’s inhumanity to man with the creation of beauty with one’s own hands. His solid wood sculptures are contemplations on the subtleties of femininity. With great care and delicacy, he melds the natural beauty of wood in its three dimensional glory with the poetry of the female experience. As the color and texture of wood change, so do the sizes of the sculptures.  The current exhibit will display seven of his pieces.
