Fleur Spolidor's acrylic paintings reflect her thoughts about femininity and history. Her research into the real events she portrays leads her to give special attention to detail. She plays with colors, patterns and mythology to support the psychology of her fantastical scenes. Her work is on exhibit in the San Mateo Public Library First Floor Gallery through June 13, 2013.
