25th Avenue Farmers' Market - Every Tuesday
Watch a parking lot transform into an agricultural marketplace filled with fresh fruits and vegetables. DATES: through October 15

Library Summer Reading Program (all summer)
The Library offers its free summer reading program (“Paws to Read”) for all ages from birth through 12th grade. Reading/activity logs will be available for different age levels from preschool to teens. The Library will be offering a number of fun, special programs throughout the summer. Ceramic Show and Sale
You’ll find beautiful ceramic art pieces for sale, hand-crafted by our current Adult Ceramic Studio’s student artists. This event will take place on June 6th (6-9:00 p.m.) and on June 7th (10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.), at the Central Park Ceramic Studio (50 E. 5th Ave., between the tennis courts and ball field). Disaster Preparedness Day
Sponsored in part by the San Mateo Daily Journal, KGO Newstalk AM810 and The Examiner, Disaster Preparedness Day offers emergency kit and disaster plan instructions in the event of  fire, earthquakes, tsunamis, terrorism strikes and more. There are fast and free CPR courses available on site. DATE: June 7

Youth/Adult Dance Show in Central Park
This free event is the culmination of the dance year for the San Mateo Recreation Department’s Youth and Adult dancers. Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of dance in the park.

The Youth Dance shows will be held at 11:30am and 2:30pm. The Adult Dance show will take place at 1:00pm All shows will be performed on the outdoor stage at Central Park.
