Hauling and demolition nearing completition
The developers for the Station Park Green project have informed the City of San Mateo that all demolition and related hauling at the former site of Kmart and Michaels, is expected to be completed by July 15. Up next for the project will be preliminary
Debris Hauling to Continue
That was fast. The old Kmart building has been torn down and extra trucks are in the general Concar/Delaware area hauling away debris. West bound 92 traffic exiting at Concar should use extra caution as they are driving on Concar and Delaware.
Demolition of Old Kmart Building To Begin in June
The contractors of the new Station Park Green will begin demolition of the Kmart building. Demolition is anticipated to begin in June. Additional truck traffic is expected has building debris is hauled off site.
Mass Excavation at Concar Sites
The contractors working at the 2 construction sites on Concar will begin mass excavations. This will lead to increased truck traffic hauling dirt and is expected to last the entire month of June. Also please be advised that the traffic pattern on Concar
Peninsula Ave Interchange Community Meeting

The Metropolitan Transporation Commission released their 2014 pavement condition index (PCI) for all cities in San Mateo County. The City of San Mateo had a score of 73 (out of 100).
