Diana Landi
Bodyshaping and Strength Training instructor
Diana started taking strength training classes at Beresford over 15 years ago. Discovering a passion for exercise and fitness, she attended the Hayward State certification program, and has taught with San Mateo Parks and Recreation for over a decade. In addition to teaching 3 days a week, Diana has a full time job in marketing and sits on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit. She is dedicated to showing her students how they can become and stay fit without a huge time commitment.

Loren Chin
Tai Chi instructor
Loren began studying Chinese martial arts as a teenager in Hong Kong, and in 1974 started a journey to train in the varying styles of Tai-Chi under the most skilled and experienced Tai-Chi masters. After extensive study, he fell deeply in love with the Chen style and went on to found the Traditional Chen Taiji school in 1992. Certified as a senior instructor by the Chen Qingzhou Martial Arts Association in China, Loren has taught Tai-Chi for sixteen years.

Patti Stetson Michelsen
Fitness instructor
Patti has taught in the City’s Fitness program for over 30 years, bringing her unbridled enthusiasm and expertise to Body Shaping/Strength Training, Cardio Dance, Zumba, and Cardio Combo classes. She is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). “I love what I do and I wake up every morning ready to do it again!” Patti says. “5678! Let’s go!”
