Fine Arts & Crafts Programs

Our programs are varied, creative and always fun!  Best of all, your child will create “works of art” to share with friends and family! Some of our fine arts & crafts classes include:

Ceramics – Doing Art Together
(ages 5 – 14 years)
This ceramics class is a parent/child class that allows you two to have fun creating and bonding at the same time. Parents with more than one child are encouraged to make it a “family affair” and registration per additional child is very affordable. For detailed information on any of our fine arts & crafts classes, see our Activity Guide.

Beginning Pottery Wheel: On & Off the Wheel for Teens
(ages 10-17 yrs.)
Discover the ancient art of pottery. You'll learn basic throwing techniques on the pottery wheel and experiment with projects such as bowls, cups, and plates. For detailed information on any of our fine arts & crafts classes, see our Activity Guide.

Cartooning
(ages 7 – 14 years)

Cartoons are always a favorite for kids whether the Sunday funnies or super heroes. This class allows your child to be part of the imaginative world by learning to create their own cartoons. The class is taught by cartoon expert, Richard Becker. For detailed information on any of our fine arts & crafts classes, see our Activity Guide.

Watercolor Painting for Kids
(ages 7 – 14 years)
Watercolor painting is a great way to get a child interested in fine arts. Our class uses step-by-step instructions for learning the basics like blending and washes. Your child will progress at his own pace and receive hands-on help and demonstrations. For detailed information on any of our fine arts & crafts classes, see our Activity Guide.

Art Exploration
(ages 4.5-7years)

Join the FUN and make fine art with the Marvegos Fine Art School. A wonderful mix of age appropriate projects are planned to make each session unique. Students will learn the terminology and tools used in fine art making while they develop confidence in making creative decisions. For detailed information on any of our fine arts & crafts classes, see our Activity Guide.

Drawing & Mixed Media
(ages 7-12 years)

Students will create original compositions using drawing as well as mixed media. Still life references will be used to develop observation skills and nurture student’s use of form in the art making. Student’s creative decisions and their own mark are honored to help each students develop their own style of art making. For detailed information on any of our fine arts & crafts classes, see our Activity Guide.
