Kaiser Medical Office PA08-087
Construction News:  July 27, 2010:
Construction continues on Kaiser Permanente's new San Mateo Medical Center, located just off Highway 101 at Hillsdale Boulevard.  The new facility will focus on family-centered care.  Teams of doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses specializing in family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics/gynecology will work together to provide quality care for the whole family - from infants and children to adults and grandparents.  Pharmacy, radiology, mammography and blood-draw services, along with optometry and optical sales will also be available to the nearly 50,000 members in the San Mateo area.

Kaiser Permanente is a national leader in building green facilities.  The new San Mateo Medical Offices incorporate green construction materials, carefully selected or developed to help reduce health risks and protect the environment.  The convenient location is just across the street from the new San Mateo Police Station and the Whole Foods Shopping center.  Outside the new facility, you will soon find landscaped parking areas, bicycle paths, and walking trails fully integrated with local cycling pathways, shopping, and residential areas.  The new facility is expected to open in late 2011.

For questions about the Kaiser Permanente project, please contact their Public Affairs Department at 650.299.3733.
